Jose Ramón Rodríguez Laiño nació en Caracas, Venezuela. En 1982 se traslada a Galicia, España país de origen de sus padres donde se nacionaliza y reside. Ha estudiado arquitectura y trabajado durante 12 años para estudios nacionales e internacionales de arquitectura, realizando proyectos, maquetas, fotografía de maquetas, fotomontajes y modelos 3D de construcciones y de diseño industrial para muchas competiciones de ideas que han logrado premios. Durante esos años crecía su interés por la fotografía, utilizando aun cámaras analógicas con lentes macro para fotografiar maquetas de arquitectura y maquetas conceptuales, aunque su interés por la fotografía y la imagen proviene de años atrás.
Se ha dedicado también al dibujo y pintura desde muy joven, llegando a obtener el premio Novos Valores en la Bienal de Pontevedra de 1991, España. Ha realizado cursos de aerografía y aerografía aplicada a fotografía en el Centro de Estudios del Video y la Imagen en Santiago de Compostela, obteniendo calificación sobresaliente en su trabajo final de diplomatura.
Desde el año 2009 se entusiasma por la fotografía, así como también por la edición y la manipulación digital, centrándose especialmente en el género de naturaleza muerta o bodegones, aprendiendo de forma autodidacta y utilizando la fotografía como medio de expresión de ideas de una manera creativa.
A partir del año 2013, Jose Laíño comienza a presentar su reciente trabajo fotográfico a concursos internacionales obteniendo galardones y reconocimientos de diversos jurados compuestos por relevantes personas de la industria fotográfica en distintos países. Su obra ha sido publicada en lo últimos años en diversas publicaciones internacionales como The Lucie Awards, PX3 de París, One Eyeland Book, etc así como también destacada en programas de divulgación cultural de Televisión Española (TVE2)
BIO
Jose Ramón Rodríguez Laiño was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Since 1982 he live in Galicia, Spain, native country of his parents where he obtained spanish citizenship. He studied architecture and worked for twelve years for a national and international architectural offices, making projects, models, photography, photocollages and 3D models of buildings and industrial design in many competitions projects that have won prizes. In these years, his interest in photography was rising, using analog cameras with macro lens to photograph architectural and conceptual models, although his interest in photography comes from many years ago.
He has also worked in painting from a very early age, getting the award Novos Valores in Pontevedra Biennial 1991, Spain. He has studied and practiced airbrushing and airbrushing on photography at the Center for the Study of Video and Image in Santiago de Compostela obtaining outstanding rating in his final work diploma.
Since 2009 he excited for photography, as well as for digital edition and digital manipulation, especially in still life category, self-taught learning and using photography as a means to express ideas in a creative way.
Since 2013 Jose Laiño presents his recent photographic work to international contests for the first time, obtaining awards and recognitions from various juries by relevant people from the photographic industry in different countries. His work has been published in recent years in various international publications such as the Lucie Awards, PX3 de París, One Eyeland Book, etc and has also been highlighted in programs of cultural dissemination on Spanish televisión.
